Following the success of our 2010 production of Hancock scripts Alan Simpson, Ray Galton and their agent Tessa gave their permission for us to put on another series of "Hancock's Half Hour" recreations in December.
Hancock at Christmas ran from Monday 12th to Saturday 17th December, 2011 at the Drama Studio, Riverside Arts Centre, Lower Sunbury, Middlesex.
As last time, the cast performed three shows in each performance, and six shows overall. These shows consisted of two studio "Half Hour" recreations of the classic radio series in the first half of the evening, followed by a fully dramatised show drawn from the TV series. This year, the two drama productions were the classic "The Lift" and “The Reunion Party". As the performances were staged close to Christmas, two Christmas shows were also included, one of them being the relatively little known "Department Store Santa" half hour.
